What Pro adds
On up to five devices. Pro changes what AwakeTab looks like and remembers, never how the screen is kept awake.

Themes, lamps and backgrounds
Six more colour themes, from Solarized to High contrast, eight more lamps and a colour of your own, five more backgrounds such as Aurora and Stars, and presets like Night desk. Clear Night, Paper, Nord and four lamps stay free.

A sound mixer
Layer rain, café, fire and noise, each at its own level. A lo-fi library will hold recorded tracks as we add them. The seven focus sounds, one at a time, stay free.

As many notes as you like
Titles, search and pins for every note you keep. Notes stay in your browser and are never uploaded. One note is free.

A Pomodoro that repeats
After the long break, focus blocks start again on their own until you stop, and every finished block counts in your stats. Pause and skip are free.

Message mode
Your own line, up to 80 characters, in big type on the awake screen. Anyone who opens a shared Message link can try it free for 5 minutes.

Free stats show the last 7 days. Pro keeps 12 weeks and exports your sessions as a CSV file.

Guide pages may carry ads to pay for the free tool. With Pro they don't. The awake screen has no ads for anyone.

How you get Pro
No account to create. A licence key does the work, and Polar sends it to you.

Pay on Polar
The plan button opens Polar checkout. Polar takes the payment, adds any tax and emails your receipt with the licence key.

Polar brings you back to AwakeTab, and this browser activates itself. If it can't, paste the key from the email.

Add your other devices
Enter the same key in up to five browsers in total. AwakeTab for Chrome takes it in its settings and counts as one of them.

Manage devices any time
See where Pro is on and remove a device to free its place. Devices unused for 90 days are removed automatically when you activate a new one.
Payment, refunds and privacy

14-day refund, no questions asked. Email [email protected] with your receipt or use the Polar customer portal. Refunds deactivate the licence key.

Polar handles payment. Polar is the seller of record: it takes the card, charges tax where it applies and sends the receipt. AwakeTab never sees your card.

Cancel any time. The yearly plan renews through Polar. Cancel in the Polar customer portal, and Pro stays on until the end of the year you paid for.

No account, no password. Your licence is a key, plus a random ID and a label such as “Chrome · macOS” for each device. Polar keeps your email for the receipt.
Questions
Does Pro keep the screen awake better?
No. Free and Pro use the same wake lock and the same status pill. Pro adds looks, a sound mixer, more notes, a repeating Pomodoro, a message, history and schedules on top.
Can I try Pro before paying?
Yes. In the tool, every Pro theme, lamp, background and preset, the sound mixer, more notes, the repeating Pomodoro and a shared Message link can be tried for 5 minutes, as often as you like. A small bar counts down, then the tool goes back to your free choice, and nothing is saved. After you pay, the 14-day refund still applies.
Do I need an account?
No. Polar handles checkout and emails you a licence key. AwakeTab never stores a password.
What counts as a device?
Each browser where you enter the key uses one of five activations. AwakeTab for Chrome activates itself and uses one too. Devices unused for 90 days are removed automatically when you activate a new one.
What happens if my yearly plan ends?
Pro features switch off and the free tool keeps working. Your settings stay, and stats older than 7 days are hidden, not deleted. Renew and they come back.
Is there a monthly plan?
No. Pro is $12 a year, or one payment with no renewal. Both cover 5 devices.
